St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Vernal, Utah, embodies an open and inclusive spirit within the Episcopal Diocese of Utah. Our mission is to foster worship, fellowship, and outreach, guided by our Episcopalian values. Our congregation actively engages in Lay Ministry and various service initiatives, contributing to the well-being of our community

Sunday Worship Experience

Our Sunday service begins at 10:00 a.m., with a duration of approximately 50 minutes. The liturgy includes readings from the Hebrew Scriptures, the Epistles, and a Gospel passage. Our priest delivers a meaningful sermon accompanied by live music selections from the Hymnal 1982 or the Spirit and Song hymnal.

Each Sunday, we observe the Holy Eucharist as outlined in Rite II of the Book of Common Prayer (BCP), a cornerstone of our liturgical practice that fosters unity through shared worship. For those unfamiliar with our service, we encourage a posture of relaxed engagement, with parishioners readily available to assist in navigating the liturgy.

Attire at our services ranges from casual to formal, according to personal preference. We extend a warm invitation to all, regardless of dress, to join us in worship.
